My comment on the presentation of Julie and Elisabeth

I am going to comment on the presentation of Julie and Elisabeth. Their presentation was about tanksgiving. It is a feast that is not celebrated here. Before I left for my exchange to Canada, I did not know a lot of this feast yet. It is celebrated in Canada and in America. Although I already knew something about it, I learned a lot about the dishes that are eaten such as pecan pie and pumpkin pie. Both Elisabeth and Julie spoke very spontaneously about this feast day. I hope that I will once again experience a tanksgiving day.

My comment on Julie’s blog

I am going to comment on Julie’s blog. Firstly, I find her intro ‘about me’ very original because she even included a quote. Her lifequote is: life is too short to go on diet! It made me laugh. I find her blog very fascinating and interesting because she also mentioned various dishes that she met during a trip in Peru. I would definitely like to taste the dish with the name “Lomo Saltado”. I was surprised by the fact that they also eat Cuy in Peru. I do not know if I dare to eat this, but it is interesting to discover how food habits can differ according to culture. I liked the idea of linking traditional dishes from peru to her journey. The text was clear and to the point, but it would have been nice if there were some more fun facts in the text. This may be a tip for improvement in the future. I conclude that Julie’s blog is really interesting and original.
